We Teach Soccer & Build Character

The Toronto Azzurri Soccer Club gives kids in the community a chance to develop physical and social skills through the great game of soccer.  We focus on “at risk” youth and help them build confidence and self esteem that extends beyond the soccer pitch.

We are a Non Profit organization and our fundraising activities continue to enable these programs to be nurtured and grow.  We are offering sponsorship opportunities for private and corporate donors so that we can place as many of our kids from the immediate Jane/Finch neighbourhood into our programs.

Below are our sponsorship options that can enable your company to directly impact a child’s life by allowing him/her to participate in the Toronto Azzurri Youth Programs offered.

About our Organization

The Toronto Azzurri Soccer Club was born in 1968 as the senior team of the Westwood Young Generation Soccer Club that operated in downtown Toronto out of the Robina YMCA (St. Clair/Oakwood Ave). This club produced 13 players that represented Canada on the soccer pitch at the national level.  In 1999, over 50 alumni from that youth club came together to form the new Toronto Azzurri Soccer Club.  A constitution was scripted and the group agreed in a collective vision to create a Community Centre of Excellence.  On April 29th, 2014, the 6000 square foot Azzurri LiUNA Community Clubhouse was opened on 5 acres of land owned by the City of Toronto.  Together with our community partners, Sgt. Stephen Hicks of 31 Division Toronto Police Services ForKicks program and Elaine Daviau’s Altogether Arts programs, we are leading and sustaining educational spirit and arts at the Toronto Azzurri Youth Sport Village.
